CLERGY & STAFF
The Rev. Matt Rucker
Rector
"I am grateful to serve St. Peter's Anglican Church as Rector. My wife Madeline, and daughters Genevieve and Vivienne, are so glad to be called to such a beautiful community in such a beautiful place. Prior to becoming Rector at St. Peter's, I have served at churches in Princeton, NJ, and Phoenix, AZ. I finished my seminary education at Trinity School for Ministry, but did most of my training at Princeton Theological Seminary. I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, and watching baseball, especially my hometown Arizona Diamondbacks, who teach me every season how to fail with grace. I can only offer one thing as Rector that really matters: the opportunity for others to encounter Jesus Christ in Word and Sacrament, that they may be transformed by the self-giving grace of God."

Emily Maeda
Music Minister
A native of Boulder, Colorado, Emily grew up singing with her family as a favorite pastime. Her love of music led to playing in church as a teenager and eventually to musical studies in college. After marrying and returning to Colorado, Mark and Emily found a home in the Anglican church. Emily appreciates the long musical tradition of Anglican congregational singing and the beauty of worshiping within the liturgical calendar. Her desire is for every congregant to lift their souls in song before God. She and Mark have seven children whom they homeschool (or have homeschooled). She also designs gardens and directs a hybrid school. In her spare time, she enjoys sitting on her front porch with a good poem, cooking delicious meals, and making music with her kids.
