Lydia E. Brown

Lydia “Lesly” Esther Brown, 58, of Loveland, Colorado, passed away Friday, May 12th, 2023. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Evelyn “Elba” and Luis Martinez (deceased). Lydia Graduated from Homestead Senior High School (Homestead, FL) in 1982. While in high school she met her husband to be Robert “Bob” Brown.

Lydia always enjoyed working with kids of any age. She worked as a preschool teacher, home childcare provider and most recently as a Paraprofessional at several schools in the Loveland area and at KQA in Milliken. She has touched the hearts and lives of an uncountable number of students and young adults throughout her life. 

Surviving are her husband of 39+ years; daughters - Megan (Daniel) Riss of Loveland, CO, and Danielle “Nell” Brown of Loveland, CO. She is also survived by her Mother and sister Elba Martinez of Phoenix, AZ and by her four legged grand puppies - “fur” nurses - Penelope, Belle and Amelia.

A memorial service for Lydia will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 27th, 2023 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 4044 Duffield Ave., Loveland, CO 80538 with a reception to follow at the church. The memorial service will also be live streamed for those friends and family that are not able to attend in person. https://stpetersloveland.org/livestream
